  • Josh Ng is a student in Australia and primarily performs on E-flat and bass clarinets.
If I were to walk over to your music stand right now, what would I find on it?
  • The Shostakovich excerpts from Michael Drapkin’s book for bass clarinet.
What piece of music or album changed your life irreversibly?
  • Mahler’s Sixth Symphony
If you could play any other instrument what would it be and why?
  • I would like to play percussion or any low brass instrument.
If you could go back in time and meet any musician who would it be and why?
  • I would want to thank Mahler so that I could thank him for being the catalyst in my musical career.
  • Another musician I would like to meet is Harry Sparnay.
While we are back in time, what advice would you give to your younger self?
